About Me
Biography
I am Oscar, based in Queens, New York. I am a father of two, and I still get excited every time I pick up a camera.
I moved to the Big Apple and worked in Manhattan, and the city expanded my horizons. New stories, new people, bigger canvases.
Before that, Iceland. I was there working as a travel videographer, and I am grateful for every bit of that experience. Alone in the middle of nowhere, white in every direction, I felt tiny. Then it sparked: small does not mean powerless. One frame can hold a whole story.
It all started in Hong Kong, where I was born and raised. My grandpa handed me a VHS camcorder when I was eleven, back in 1997. Yellow, red and white cables into the TV, recording tape to tape.
The tools changed, from tape to timeline to AI. The reason never did.
